The journal recognizes digital preservation as an essential component of responsible scholarly publishing and seeks to maintain reliable access to its publications beyond their initial release.

01 / PUBLIC ACCESS AND ISSUE RECORDS

Electronic Archiving

APLIKATIF maintains a publicly accessible electronic archive through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Published articles are organized by volume and issue and made available with their associated bibliographic information and publication files.

The journal's electronic archive provides access to previously published issues and supports the continued availability and discoverability of its scholarly content.

Readers may access published articles through the journal's Archives page.

02 / PUBLISHER RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFEGUARDS

Digital Preservation and Backup

The publisher, Lembaga Riset dan Inovasi Masyarakat Madani, is responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate procedures for safeguarding the journal's digital content.

These procedures encompass the preservation of published article files, bibliographic metadata, journal issues, and relevant OJS records.

Operational safeguards should include regular data backups, secure storage of backup copies, and periodic verification of data integrity and recoverability.

Backup procedures are intended to support operational recovery and complement, rather than replace, independent long-term digital preservation.

03 / EXTERNAL NETWORK PARTICIPATION

Long-Term Digital Preservation

APLIKATIF recognizes the importance of distributed digital preservation systems, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS-based preservation services, in supporting the long-term accessibility of scholarly publications.

The journal's OJS platform supports integration with recognized preservation mechanisms. However, technical compatibility alone does not constitute confirmation of active preservation.

Participation in an external preservation network will be publicly declared only after the relevant service has been activated and successful archival deposits have been verified.

The journal will update this policy to identify its active external preservation arrangements once their implementation has been confirmed.

Reference to PKP PN or LOCKSS does not represent a claim of active membership or completed archival deposits.

04 / SCHOLARLY RECORD INTEGRITY

Archival Integrity and Publication Records

APLIKATIF is committed to maintaining accurate and consistent publication records, including article titles, authorship information, publication dates, volume and issue assignments, and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

Published articles remain part of the journal's scholarly record. Corrections, retractions, and other post-publication updates are managed in accordance with the journal's Correction and Retraction Policy.

Where corrections or retractions are necessary, the journal seeks to maintain appropriate links between the original publication and the relevant editorial notices, subject to applicable legal and ethical requirements.

05 / CONTINUITY AND POLICY REVIEW

Continuity of Access

In the event of changes to the journal's hosting infrastructure, publishing platform, or organizational arrangements, the publisher will seek to preserve existing publication records and maintain access to previously published scholarly content.

Where necessary and feasible, appropriate institutional repositories or digital preservation services may be considered to support the continued availability of the journal's archive.

APLIKATIF will review its digital archiving arrangements periodically and update this policy when significant changes to its preservation infrastructure or procedures occur.
