APLIKATIF: Journal of Research Trends in Social Sciences and Humanities is a journal that uses a double-blind peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of APLIKATIF is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale.

This issue presents interdisciplinary studies addressing educational innovation, technology-enhanced learning, consumer behavior, institutional performance, and historical discourse in the social sciences and humanities. It includes research on generative AI and self-regulated learning in higher education, problem-based learning and critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning to develop students’ mathematical communication skills. Other contributions examine digital learning media for addressing speaking anxiety in EFL classrooms, teacher competency and job satisfaction in Islamic education, and the influence of green marketing and brand image on consumers’ purchase intentions. A historical study of Dutch colonial propaganda in the Palembang Sultanate further broadens the discussion, offering diverse perspectives on educational practices, consumer dynamics, institutional development, and the construction of political legitimacy.
